Hydraluron moisture serum –as I read in the product’s box- is a facial moisture boosting serum containing one of the purest forms of hyaluronic acid. This product is made in Canada by Indeed Laboratories and unfortunately not available in Indonesia. The nearest place to get this serum is in Malaysia. But thank God, nowadays we can get this product easily from some online shops.

I first have information about this serum from a beauty blogger that become my role model in skincare world. Like me, she has a dry skin that makes her has to pay more attention on hydrating product. And this serum soon becomes her favorite on the first try. And one day when I have dehydration problem with my skin, I have no hesitation to grab this serum immediately.

I surely have a dehydration problem with my skin. But actually I have found the cure for that problem. That problem reappears when I tried novexpert the peeling night cream. The ingredients of hydraluron moisture serum, as I can see in the box, are water, propanediol, sodium hyaluronate, carbomer, phenoxyethanol, butylenes glycol, sodium hydroxide, ahnfeltia concinna extract, and disodium edta. The key ingredient of this product is hyaluronic acid. The writing on the tube of the serum that says that “hydraluron moisture serum increases skin hydration from below the surface with an ultra high quality hyaluronic acid that holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water” is make sense, because hyaluronic acid in this serum is written at the third place of the ingredients list (written as sodium hyaluronate), which means that the concentration of hyaluronic acid in this serum is quite large. Another star ingredient in this serum is ahnfeltia concinna. Ahnfeltia concinna is a kind of algae that has benefit to increase cell turnover, firmness, elasticity, and smoothness.

Although I satisfy with the fact that hydraluron moisture serum has two star ingredients to moisten the skin, I find myself keep looking to other benefit that is not provided by this serum. That’s why I start to have double serum in my routine. Like what my role model does, I use other serum prior to hydraluron moisture serum. Usually the prior serum that I use is those who have brightening or whitening effect. The most important thing is hydraluron moisture serum has to be used right before any emulsion or any moisturizer. However, I don’t use hydraluron moisture serum every day. I use it only if my skin needs more hydration because of something unusual happens or application a product that has dehydrate the skin as its side effect.

The texture of this serum is like a gel. It is well and quickly absorbed by my skin. It leaves no stick feeling, at all. Moreover it makes the dry feeling of my skin disappear instantly. Before adding this serum in my routine, I found the hydration effect of my skincares last up to midday. But after hydraluron moisture serum joins in my skincare arsenal, the hydration effect of my routine last longer than before, even it lasts almost a whole day. Because the texture is like gel and it penetrates very well into the skin, I read a lot of reviews from people who have oily skin were also pleased with the performance of this serum.
